The Mvohc project uses narrative world-building to broach concepts within the human experience. By creating elements that exist both within and beyond the known world, a dialogue between our understood reality and a redefined social autonomy begins to unfold. The Mvohc project comprises three primary components, the performed scientist, composed audio interviews, and the physical Mvohc sculptures. The scientist acts as a narrative tool to deliver the full Mvohc history and advocate for their utilization in regaining individual autonomy to make space for social change. The audio component consists of a single chain of thought, per Mvohc, as heard through many voices composed into one. In the overarching project, these soundscapes attempt to bridge a gap between the worries, joys, and traumas of different people and cultures to foster tolerance and community. The physical representations of Mvohc help immerse the viewer in the narrative. When viewers suspend their disbelief, they find themselves in a world, rallying for individuals' empowerment over social construction. In this world, symbiotic creatures exist solely to incidentally act as a manager for their hosts' overworked minds, and in this place, we are not alone, even in our most dreaded thoughts.
